Shopping For A Holiday Hello

>> Thursday, December 9, 2010

Every year I look forward to putting together our Christmas card/picture. It's generally better when I'm on the ball and don't leave it to the last minute, but this year I think I'll have some help. A friend shared with me that Shutterfly had a give-away deal for bloggers (50 free cards) who were willing to do a short write up about their favorite holiday cards. Well this is not going to be difficult for me at all.

I've been a fan of Shutterfly for years and love how great their photo books turn out. They make perfect gifts or just a really cool way to hang on to memories. I've never made a calendar, but have heard nothing but exceptional reports from those who have. I'm thinking it might be a good gift for next year... again if I'm more prepared. =) So, anyway I thought I would share with you some of my favorite holiday greeting cards. I'll warn you, I have a lot of favorites, but maybe they'll inspire you for the future!

I love this card! Maybe because it's stylistic, but not too busy or maybe because it's red and brown.
There is something so chic about black and white.
I love the red pine cone detail on this one!
I think this one's font is just so fun and festive.
I liked that one could add a personal top 10 list of the years happenings to this card.
This one has a retro feel that I really enjoy. I also like the multi photo option as well.
I like that this one covers two holidays, and I like the colors too.
Who doesn't love a little snow detail for a white Christmas feel?!

Here are some options that are more traditional photo greeting cards as opposed to the
card stock cards above.

Again I like the option of adding photos and text.
Lovin the orange-red and brown again.
Super cute snow like polka dots, again with a multi photo option.
Simplistic chic brown with ribbon like detail.
This one has a whimsical feel that called to me.

So those are some of my favorites. Now I just have to decide which one I want to use! Be sure to check out Shutterfly yourself for lots of great greeting cards and gift ideas. If you are a blogger and want a chance to get in on this give-away, you have a few more days to register.

Merry Christmas!

They are all so nice! I should have looked over there!

I have done a calendar every year for the past three years....very nice gift for grandparents!

I have yet to do a photo book. That is my next adventure!

Hope all is well Heidi!

About This Blog

A Paige From Our Book began as a way to chronicle the fun changes and growth of a certain little girl, but also to showcase favorite photos as I grow and practice in my love of photography. Along the way I have added things like The Hope of Glory where I am able to share quotes, Scriptures and things that God is showing me in my daily walk with Him. It is my hope and prayer that everything shared on this blog will point you to the One who has given us our eternal hope and bring Him much glory.
